Originally named ‘Waldorf Theater’ and built as part of a pair with the Aldwych Theater surrounding the Waldorf hotel, the Novello Theater is easy to find and very central to London. Located within the area known as ‘Theaterland’, The Novello is surrounded by many other West End theaters and is close to a wide variety of public transportation options. The nearest rail station to the Novello Theater is Charing Cross. From Charing Cross Rail Station, cross the road at the traffic lights and then head right down The Strand. Once you reach the Aldwych junction, the theater is the second left hand turning on the corner between Drury Lane and Aldwych.


The nearest tube stations are Covent Garden (Piccadilly line) Holborn (Central and Piccadilly lines) and Charing Cross (Northern and Bakerloo lines).

Covent Garden: Head out the station and east up Long Acre. Turn right down Drury Lane and then right again onto Aldwych when you reach the end of the road. The Novello Theater will be on your right hand side.

Holborn: Turn right out of Holborn station and walk down Kingsway towards Aldwych and the Strand. The theateris a right hand turning as the road meets Aldwych.

The Novello Theater is within the London Congestion Charge Zone which applies weekdays between 7am - 6pm (not including bank holidays) and costs £10 per day. If you are driving to the theater after 6pm then you will not be charged.

The Novello Theater is a participant of the Q-Park Scheme. The nearest participating car park is the 24hr Q Park Chinatown Car Park (20 Newport Place, WC2H 7PR). Parking costs £18 for up to 3hrs, and £24 for 4hrs but theatergoers can save 50% if they have their ticket validated at the theater.


There are always plenty of taxis around the Strand/Aldwych junction which you can hail from the curb. However you can also get a cab from the designated taxi rank at Charing Cross rail station.
